獨特的葉輪結構設計，最大限度地將流體特性和機械運動完美地結合。雙曲面葉輪的曲面是方程為xy=b曲線沿y軸旋轉而構成的曲面體:為了迎合水體流動，設計從葉輪的中心進水，這一方面減少了進水素流，另一方面保證了液體對葉輪表面的壓力均勻，從而保證整機在運動狀態下的平衡。在漸開雙弧面上均布有八條導流葉片，借助液體自重壓力作補充進水獲得的勢能與葉輪旋轉時產生的離心力形成動能，液體在重力加速度的條件下沿葉輪圓周方向作切線運動，在池壁的反射作用下，形成自下而上地循環水流，故可獲得在軸向(v)和徑向(x)方向的交叉水流。正是由于雙曲面攪拌機葉輪的結構特性和接近池底安裝的特點，決定了它在工作中可獲得理想的攪拌效果，能有效地消除攪拌死角。見下圖
